There is another massive line-up of sporting action ahead as coverage of the Commonwealth Games continues on Channel 7, 7mate and 7plus.

Tuesday Evening

6.00pm | Hockey: It’s a re-match of the 2018 final between Australia and New Zealand. After a heartbreaking loss to the Black Sticks Women at Gold Coast 2018, our Hockeyroos will be looking for redemption tonight.

7.00pm | Athletics: It’s a huge first night on the track! In an exciting moment for all Australians, we catch the first glimpse of “The Flying Mullet”, Rohan Browning, in the men’s 100m. Henry Frayne and Chris Mitrevski will compete in the men’s long jump, while Taneille Crase takes on the women’s heptathlon 100m hurdles. Then, Rhiannon Clarke, Indiana Cooper and Ella Pardy will compete in the women’s T37/38 100m heats.

7.00pm | Swimming Heats: Abbey Connor, Elizabeth Dekkers and Brianna Throssell will represent the Green and Gold in the women’s 200m butterfly, before Mollie O’Callaghan takes on the 50m backstroke. Then, will the Aussies qualify for a medal in the mixed 4x100m medley relay?

9.00pm | Netball: The Australian Diamonds take to the court against Wales.

11.00pm | Gymnastics: Gold medallist, Georgia Godwin, represents the Green and Gold in the individual apparatus finals.

11.30pm | Beach Volleyball: Australia’s golden girls, Taliqua Clancy and Mariafe Artacho de Solar, take on Trinidad and Tobago as they continue their quest to Commonwealth Games gold.

Wednesday Morning

4.00am | Athletics: Don’t miss the first track and field gold medal – the women’s pole vault – which will feature a deep field, headlined by Gold Coast 2018 bronze medallist, Nina Kennedy, up against defending champion Alysha Newman (Canada), Olivia McTaggart (New Zealand) and Holly Bradshaw (England). Australia won the first five editions (1998-2014) until Newman and New Zealand’s Eliza McCartney (silver) pushed Kennedy to bronze in 2018.

4.00am | Swimming Finals: Emma McKeon, Shayna Jack and Mollie O’Callaghan form a formidable trio in the women’s 100m freestyle. McKeon could join Dawn Fraser and Jodie Henry as the only female swimmers to hold the Olympic and Commonwealth Games titles concurrently, in the Blue Riband event.

Australia will be cheering on pop star turned swimming star, Cody Simpson, in the men’s 100m butterfly final. Will Ariarne Titmus join Tracey Wickham as the only Australians to uphold their title in the women’s 800m freestyle? Lani Pallister and Kiah Melverton could make it a podium sweep for the Australians. Pallister’s mother Janelle Pallister (nee Elford) won silver in the event at the 1990 Games in Auckland.

Wednesday Evening

6.00pm | Hockey: The Hockeyroos play Scotland in their final women’s pool match.

7.00pm | Athletics: In a moment Aussies have been waiting for, Peter Bol hits the track for the men’s 800m heats, against a talent-stacked group of athletes. Then, two-time Olympic finalist, Brandon Starc, defends his men’s high jump title.

7.30pm | Swimming: Australia is an excellent chance to win three gold medals on the final night of swimming, courtesy of Ariarne Titmus, who is looking to complete the 200/400/800m freestyle treble.

8.00pm | Criclet T20: Meg Lanning’s Aussies take on Pakistan in their final pool match.

8.30pm | Cycling (Mountain Bike): Dan McConnell and Sam Fox will come up against an impressive group of riders in the cross country. Australia is yet to win a gold medal in this cycling discipline – could we take home our first?

Catch all the action LIVE tonight on Channel 7, 7Mate and streaming multiple channels live on 7plus.
