Another cold and/or wet night that struggles to draw an audience.
Nine’s night was messy thanks to the footy, however it was enough to take the overall win, starting out with A Current Affair (620,000). The schedule then delivered mixed results depending on your capital city, with Thursday Night NRL Live (373,000 (335,000 Nine BNE/SYD; 38,000 9Gem MEL/ADL/PER)), Thursday Night Knock-Off (108,000 Nine BNE/SYD), repeats of RBT (180,000 Nine MEL/ADL/PER), and Paramedics (203,000 (167,000 Nine MEL/ADL/PER; 36,000 9Gem BNE/SYD)), then a new New Amsterdam (79,000 Nine MEL/ADL/PER), before all coming back together with The Equalizer (74,000).
Nine first in both primary (21.3%) and network (28.9%) rankings.
Home & Away (417,000 7pm; 354,000 7:30-8:30pm Late) runs consistently for Seven, before pivoting into a mixed schedule that delivered a repeat of Inside Chernobyl (132,000) and juggled with The Front Bar (316,000 (201,000 MEL)), then into a repeat of The Taxi Cab Rapist (34,000).
Seven second in both primary (18.5%) and network (27.1%) rankings.
ABC’s night kicks off with a solid 7:30 (521,000) followed by a two-hour epic Sydney Symphony Orchestra Live Gala (223,000), then into repeats of Stan Grant’s One Plus One (138,000), Miriam Margolyes: Australia Unmasked (33,000), and Baptiste (DNR).
ABC third in both primary (10.9%) and network (16.8%) rankings.
The Project (248,000 6:30pm; 354,000 7pm) chugs along for 10, before pivoting into a primetime-winning new ep of The Dog House Australia (433,000). Repeats of Law & Order: SVU (170,000), The Cheap Seats (96,000) and Ghosts (DNR) do little as the evening fades.
10 fourth in both primary (10.6%) and network (16.5%) rankings.
Scenic Coastal Walks with Kate Humble (142,000) leads SBS’s night, followed by A Shot in a Starry Night (98,000) and Tour de France – Stage 18 (140,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (6.4%) and network (10.7%) rankings.
