It’s like everyone gave up everywhere all at once.
Home & Away (404,000 7pm; 363,000 7:30pm-8:30pm Late) started the night as Seven’s strongest – again – and even in primetime the best it could land was second. Then the schedule flipped between a repeat of Conjoined Twins (157,000) and The Front Bar (349,000 (210,000 MEL)) based on your state’s love of AFL.
Seven first in both primary (20.4%) and network (28.5%) rankings.
A Current Affair (630,000) maintains Nine’s rage and is head and shoulders their best for the night. Though badged in the schedule as Under Investigation it turned out to be repeats of. RBT (339,000) that landed third in primetime, followed by a repeat of Paramedics (294,000). US dramas finished out the night with new episodes of New Amsterdam (116,000) and The Equalizer (52,000).
Nine second in both primary (18.5%) and network (26%) rankings.
The Project (219,000 6:30pm; 336,000 7pm) continues reliably for 10 as a new ep of The Dog House Australia (419,000) takes out a very soft primetime race. Nobody seems to care Who Is Ghislaine Maxwell? (172,000) and even fewer hang around for a late night repeat of The Cheap Seats (50,000).
10 third in primary (11.5%) and fourth in network (17.1%) rankings.
7:30 (474,000) and Foreign Correspondent (306,000) do a reasonable job for the ABC, and even Q+A (229,000) picked up a little. The rest of the night offered repeats of Rosie Batty’s One Plus One (98,000) and Carbon: The Unauthorised Biography (33,000).
ABC fourth in primary (11.2%) and third in network (17.2%) rankings.
SBS’s night started with Scenic Coastal Walks with Kate Humble (124,000), slid into a repeat of Stacey Dooley: Inside the Convent (84,000), and then offered Tour de France 2022: Stage 12 (165,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (6.6%) and network (11.3%) rankings.
