10’s big cooking show coming into its own at the pointy end, seeing away it’s big reality competition…at least for now.

A Current Affair (641,000) again takes the prize as the highest rating program after the 6pm News block. It helped Nine to the nightly win, as Australian Ninja Warrior (458,000) slides over 100k from first to second ep of the new series. Wimbledon 2022 (317,000 Night; 250,000 Late; 88,000 Late Extended) keeps a lot of tennis fans entertained into the late evening.
Nine first in both primary (22.2%) and network (29.9%) rankings.

Seven gets a boost from Home & Away (464,000) doing stronger numbers but still 180k off the pace. Big Brother Australia (328,000) is a distant fourth in primetime – thank goodness for TotalTV numbers – as the later and late night gets filled with The Good Doctor (185,000), The Rookie (129,000), and Autopsy USA (37,000).
Seven second in both primary (16.3%) and network (24.2%) rankings.

The Project (257,000 6:30pm; 396,000 7pm) pulls about the same as last week, as does MasterChef Australia (580,000) which again lands the primetime win. The Cheap Seats (414,000) too draws a big audience off the back – proving to be a great success for 10 (and doing better than at least one of its commercial rivals big primetime reality show!). A double repeat of NCIS (136,000; 92,000) barely entertains.
10 third in both primary (14.1%) and network (20.4%) rankings.

A big week for the ABC as they celebrate 90 years, and on Tuesday starts with the pairing of 7:30 (513,000) and The ABC of…Ita Buttrose (424,000) landing second in primetime. Meet the Penguins (264,000) is delightful though under-appreciated. The late evening rolls out with The Australian Soul with Geraldine Doogue (122,000) and a repeat of Four Corners (39,000).
ABC fourth in both primary (11.2%) and network (15.2%) rankings.

Who Do You Think You Are? Australia (307,000) leads SBS’s night as their best, turning into their current affairs line-up including Insight (212,000), Dateline (126,000), and the final episode of The Feed (67,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (6.7%) and network (10.4%) rankings.
