All episodes of the New Zealand crime drama One Lane Bridge, season one, will arrive in Australia today exclusively on Acorn TV
The drama series originally received production funding from Channel 7 and aired on 7Two/7plus earlier this year.
The arrival of season one of One Lane Bridge on Acorn TV comes ahead of the season two premiere which will be exclusive to Acorn in July.
In this dark crime drama with a supernatural edge, a small town in New Zealand is upended when a local man’s body is found at the bottom of a one-lane bridge that’s long been a locus of unexplained events.
While investigating the murder, an ambitious Māori detective inadvertently reawakens his second sight, a gift that endangers his life but may help solve the mystery of the sinister landmark.
Dominic Ona-Ariki (The Commons), Joel Tobeck (The Doctor Blake Mysteries), Alison Bruce (The Gulf), Michelle Langstone (800 Words) and Nathalie Morris (Bump) star in this engrossing series.
One Lane Bridge is written by Pip Hall and directed by Peter Burger and Danny Mulheron. The series is produced by Carmen J. Leonard and executive produced by Philip Smith.
