BINGE has today confirmed that LOVE ME – the first Australian-made original, commissioned by the Foxtel Group for the BINGE streaming service has been renewed for Season 2.

The drama series that debuted on Boxing Day 2021 with all six-episodes, was a break-out hit becoming BINGE’s most-watched Australian series of all time.

LOVE ME is also the most nominated drama series at this year’s Logie Awards which will be held Sunday (19 June), with seven nominations including Most Outstanding Series and Most Popular Drama Series.

Directed by celebrated Australian director Emma Freeman (StatelessSecret City, Glitch), LOVE ME follows three different members from The Mathiesons family as they experience love at distinct times of their lives. Clara (Bojana Novakovic, I, Tonya, Birds of Prey, Instinct, Shameless, Satisfaction);  Glen (Hugo Weaving); and Aaron (William Lodder, Wakefield).

Weaving, Novakovic and Lodder, lead a cast that includes, Bob Morley (The 100) as Peter, Heather Mitchell (The Unusual Suspects, Palm Beach, Upright) as Anita, Sarah Peirse (Stateless, Sweet Tooth, The Letdown) as Christine, Celia Pacquola (RosehavenThe Beautiful Lie) as Sacha, Shalom Brune-Franklin (Line of Duty) as Ellaand Mitzi Ruhlmann (The Code) as Jesse.
