The show is hosted by popular ABC presenter Marc Fennell.
India Now! is a brand-new exciting, rich and entertaining half hour of news, culture and politics from India and the subcontinent, from the makers of Planet America and China Tonight.Â
In Monday’s launch episode, host Marc Fennell is joined on the panel by comedian Amit Tandon and paediatrician Dr Shanti Raman to look at the Indian education systems and how many migrants do not get the jobs they are qualified for in Australia.
Plus, the team will look at India’s growing stand-up comedy scene and Avani Dias joins the show from New Delhi to share the latest news out of South Asia.
For new arrivals, to long settled migrants, and anyone interested in one of the most populous and fascinating places in the world – India Now! brings the subcontinent to you. Â
As Australia’s relationship continues to grow at a rapid rate, and with ever closer ties at a government level, the show will be informative, always entertaining and told through stories and the people from India and the region.
Also airs on ABC NEWS channel Tuesdays at 8pm AEST and Saturdays at 2.30pm and 7.30pm AEST.

India Now – just watching it now on 27th June. It feels it is a program made to advertise India, instead of providing a true picture. This is a country where fascism at full swing. I think to provide a true picture what country is achieving ABC should interview people from different part and political inclinations. More statistics and statements with facts should be presented. This program just doesn’t have balanced views.
