Meanwhile, even though sport is really struggling on FTA, Nine take the night.

A Current Affair (666,000) starts the night as Nine’s best, then we split due to the footy: Thursday Night NRL Live (362,000 (328,000 Nine BNE/SYD; 34,000 9Gem MEL/ADL/SYD)), Thursday Night Knock-Off (152,000 BNE/SYD), RBT (226,000 (184,000 Nine MEL/ADL/SYD; 42,000 9Gem BNE/SYD)), repeat Emergency (211,000 (174,000 Nine MEL/ADL/SYD; 37,000 9Gem BNE/SYD)), New Amsterdam (78,000 Nine MEL/ADL/SYD), and then we all come back together-ish with The Equalizer (76,000).

The Project (244,000 6:30pm; 360,000 7pm) remains a problem 10 need solve. MasterChef Australia (508,000) gets some clear air with no other reality competition and delivers its best all week, and doubles down with MasterChef Australia: MasterClass (313,000). The rest of the night is repeats following The Cheap Seats (120,000) and US drama Law & Order: SVU (65,000).
10 third in both primary (12.9%) and network (19.1%) rankings.

7:30 (490,000) leads a lacklustre Thursday for the ABC, with Foreign Correspondent (357,000) and a still very low Q+A (291,000) rounding out the new content. Repeats of Courtney Act’s One Plus One (124,000) and The Family Court Murders (46,000) complete the evening.
ABC fourth in both primary (11%) and network (17%) rankings.

World’s Most Scenic River Journeys (166,000) starts SBS’s night, and continues into The Real Peaky Blinders (98,000) and Holding (83,000).
