Tuesdays are tough, especially when you’re leaning heavily on your (struggling) primetime offering.

It’s a purple patch for Nine, as A Current Affair (668,000) is the best thing after 7pm and best in the slot, followed by Lego Masters Australia (609,000) which lifts on last week and last night to win primetime. Matt Wright’s Wild Territory (258,000) and Law & Order: Organized Crime (57,000) add a little weight to the schedule.
Nine first in both primary (19.5%) and network (28.2%) rankings.

Home & Away (500,000) consistent if nothing else for Seven. Big Brother Australia (394,000) drops nearly 100k into its second ep, and it is starting to look like the audience isn’t that interested. US dramas The Good Doctor (209,000) and The Rookie (125,000) offer fan service in the later and late night.
Seven second in both primary (18.1%) and network (27.2%) rankings.

The Project (268,000 6:30pm; 391,000 7pm) is up on last week for 10 though still in a dire place, while MasterChef Australia (504,000) slips a little yet maintains second place in the slot. The Cheap Seats (360,000) ticks up (possibly off the back of Mel Bracewell’s turn on The Project earlier that night), and a repeat NCIS (147,000) with a new ep of NCIS: Los Angeles (71,000) run out the evening.
10 third in both primary (12.8%) and network (19.4%) rankings.

7:30 (491,000) again solid for the ABC, though the finale of People’s Republic of Mallacoota (252,000) maintained its lower run. The premiere of The Family Court Murders (290,000) drew some interest, as did the main channel repeat of Louis Theroux’s Forbidden America (158,000). A repeat of Four Corners (53,000) from Monday filled out the night.
ABC fourth in both primary (11%) and network (15.8%) rankings.

A standard night for SBS, with Great British Railway Journeys (203,000), then into their current affairs line-up of Insight (145,000), Dateline (108,000), and The Feed (61,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (5.5%) and network (9.3%) rankings.
