No AFL broadcast on FTA makes for a weird week.
A Current Affair (564,000) starts the night for Nine as the biggest thing it has, then it gets messy for the schedule depending on where you live: Thursday Night NRL Live (323,000 (293,000 Nine BNE/SYD; 30,000 9Gem MEL/ADL/SYD)), Thursday Night Knock-Off (92,000 Nine BNE/SYD) or RBT (223,000 (176,000 Nine MEL/ADL/SYD; 47,000 9Gem BNE/SYD;)), repeat Emergency (189,000 (141,000 Nine MEL/ADL/SYD; 48,000 9Gem BNE/SYD;)), and New Amsterdam (62,000 Nine MEL/ADL/SYD)
then it all comes back together with The Equalizer (59,000).
Nine first in primary (18.8%) and second in network (25.4%) rankings.
Seven deliver their best with Home & Away (455,000 7pm; 412,000 7:30pm-8:30pm Late), and then everything airs in every market, just at different times: Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back (118000), Police Code Zero (69,000), and The Front Bar (275,000 (177,000 MEL)).
Seven second in primary (17.7%) and first in network (27.1%) rankings.
The Project (223,000 6:30pm; 345,000 7pm) slowly starts 10’s best night of the week by far. MasterChef Australia (480,000)
is uninterrupted, while the season finale of Gogglebox Australia (570,000) does very good business. A repeat of The Cheap Seats (250,000) and new Blue Bloods (92,000) complete the schedule.
10 third in both primary (15.9%) and network (21.7%) rankings.
Thursdays continue to be not so great for the ABC. 7:30 (465,000)
and Foreign Correspondent (309,000) sit in a distant fourth, while Q+A (242,000) continues to mark time with low ratings in the wrong timeslot, though a special with the man who would be PM helped. Repeats of Stan Grant’s One Plus One (114,000) and Tiny Oz (35,000) fill out the night.
ABC fourth in both primary (10.7%) and network (15.5%) rankings.
SBS on Thursday rolls out World’s Most Scenic River Journeys (150,000), Zelenskyy: The Story (208,000), and a repeat of The Man Putin Couldn’t Kill (116,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (6%) and network (10.2%) rankings.
