It was the busiest Monday for everyone in some time, though 10 are struggling already (again).
Home & Away (489,000) lurches back into 7pm on Monday and does about its current average, though it is most eyes on The Voice Australia (767,000) for Seven as it slides back up to the second best numbers for the season. Code 1: Minute by Minute (318,000) and Nurses (154,000) add some colour to the later and late night.
Seven first in both primary (24.4%) and network (31.9%) rankings.
Nine roll out another slot win for A Current Affair (646,000) as Lego Masters Australia (599,000) maintains its late-500’s run however isn’t keeping up with its singing-comp cousin. David Attenborough’s The Mating Game (245,000) offers an average start to the series before the night split based on footy code to Footy Classified (72,000 MEL/ADL/PER) and 100% Footy (No data available BNE/SYD).
Nine second in both primary (19.3%) and network (28.1%) rankings.
7:30 (479,000) and Australian Story (491,000) do a reasonable job working together – again landing third in primetime, as Four Corners (459,000) and Media Watch (419,000) deliver reasonable numbers in the post-primetime. China Tonight (212,000) and a repeat of Q+A (36,000) fill out the later and late night.
ABC third in both primary (12.6%) and network (16.1%) rankings.
The Project (263,000 6:30pm; 359,000 7pm) thankfully picks up for 10, as does MasterChef Australia (438,000) however it is really struggling to keep up with its commercial rivals, landing fourth in primetime already. A new ep then two repeats of FBI: Most Wanted (215,000; 133,000; 93,000) draws little interest from the broad audience.
10 fourth in both primary (10.5%) and network (16%) rankings.
SBS’s ANZAC Day evening delivered Britain By Beach (154,000), Secrets of the Tower of London (101,000), and a repeat of 24 Hours in Emergency (87,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.3%) and network (7.9%) rankings.
