The Panthers v Rabbitohs Grand Final rematch and the NRLW Finals will lead a massive week of NRL on Nine, with five games LIVE and FREE on Channel 9 and 9Now.
We head west for Macca’s Friday Night Footy at 7.30pm, where the Rabbitohs will be out to atone for their Grand Final heartbreak, this time with their lethal attack weapon – Latrell Mitchell on field.
Intrigue surrounds the return of Panthers superstar Nathan Cleary, whose presence will be instrumental in plotting the downfall of the Rabbitohs in front of his rampant home crowd in Penrith.
First up this week on Hisense Thursday Night Footy, at 7.30pm, the embattled Wests Tigers travel to the Gold Coast with an urgency to win against a rejuvenated Titans outfit on a mission to show they are worthy finals contenders in 2022.
Come Sunday afternoon, the NRLW Finals will turn up the temperature with a double-header of semi-finals to decide who is on their way to the big dance in the best season of NRLW yet. The fire breathing Dragons, with sensational fullback Emma Tonegato, will take on the Titans as both clubs vie to keep their dreams of a maiden NRLW title alive.
Straight after, the biggest names in the women’s game will square off when Ali Brigginshaw’s Broncos, take on Isabelle Kelly and Jessica Sergis of the Roosters. The Tricolours will need to pull off a major upset against the Broncos who have won every NRLW premiership so far and finished on top of the 2022 NRLW points ladder.
Once the NRLW 2022 grand finalists have been settled, Chemist Warehouse Sunday Footy takes out to the most imposing of grounds for travelling teams – Melbourne’s AAMI Park, where the Storm will have their own form of welcoming back party for Josh Addo-Carr and his Bulldogs.
Expect plenty of banter both on and off the field, when NRL on Nine offers a unique insight between Storm legend Billy Slater and Bulldogs GM of Football Phil Gould, who will be sat next to each other for sideline commentary.
