A Current Affair (717,000) delivers another big head start to Nine, as Married At First Sight (1,008,000) gazzumps everything in sight…starting as the number one program for the evening. The Hundred with Andy Lee (513,000) fills out the later evening with win and a high for its series finale. A repeat of True Story with Hamish & Andy (83,000) completes another big Tuesday win for Nine.
Nine first in both primary (27.8%) and network (34.7%) rankings.
Seven would have been hoping for way more.
Home & Away (476,000) again the best for the night (by a longshot), as the double ep finale of SAS Australia (313,000 avg (350,000 finale; 276,000 reunion) slides in up slightly on last week though nowhere near close to the best of the season (or the series). Excellent programming snark to deliver MOVIE: Payback (52,000) on budget night.
Seven second in both primary (16.3%) and network (24.1%) rankings.
The Project (234,000 6:30pm; 403,000 7pm) continues to slip through the week for 10 however up on last week for the same slots, while The Dog House Australia (433,000) slips a little further on last week. NCIS (178,000) coupled with the special cross-over episode of NCIS: Hawaii (147,000) did OK numbers, and then the night was filled out with a repeat of NCIS (78,000).
10 third in both primary (10.4%) and network (16.3%) rankings.
It was all about the budget on the ABC tonight, offering wall-to-wall coverage right from Budget 2022: Treasurer’s Speech (557,000 (420,000 ABC; 137,000 ABC NEWS)) and then through the night: Budget 2022: An ABC News Special (398,000 (292,000 ABC; 106,000 ABC NEWS)), Budget 2022: Reaction and Analysis (202,000), and The Business: Budget Special (160,000 (105,000 ABC; 55,000 ABC NEWS)). A repeat of Four Corners (58,000) completed the night.
ABC fourth in both primary (10%) and network (16%) rankings.
A busy Tuesday for SBS: Great British Railway Journeys (166,000), Insight (112,000), Dateline (90,000), and The Feed (40,000).

One change to the previous week’s primetime line-up after the Total TV figures were added: Married At First Sight (Nine) lifted 44% to 1,860,000; SAS Australia (Seven) lifted 38% to 782,000; and The Dog House Australia (10) lifted 15% to 724,000.
The BVOD best were Married At First Sight (473,000), Home and Away (134,000), and SAS Australia (102,000).
