World premiere April 4 with first two episodes

Two episodes to follow every Monday through April 25

Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress Jane Seymour (The Kominsky Method, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman) stars as Harriet “Harry” Wild, a retiring university literature professor who is finding herself at one of life’s crossroads. Jolted from a mugging, she reluctantly agrees to recover in the home of her son, Charlie (Kevin Ryan, Guilt, Copper), a senior police detective. Harry starts to interfere in a particularly baffling murder case Charlie is investigating when she notices the murder shares striking similarities to an obscure Elizabethan play. When her path crosses that of her mugger, Fergus Reid (Rohan Nedd, Whitstable Pearl), Harry sees great potential in the troubled teen and, instead of turning him in, enlists him as her sidekick.

Following her successful, albeit ill-advised, involvement in the case, Harry discovers a new lust for life. She and Fergus quickly find new mysteries, including ones that involve a fledgling serial killer with a Dostoevsky fixation, gamblers running snuff games, and a wealthy Dublin matriarch strangled during a video call. Harry’s new passion brings her into direct conflict with Charlie, who could really do without his mother causing trouble at work. Stuart Graham (The Fall, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) and Amy Huberman (Finding Joy, Striking Out) also co-star.

Premieres April 25 – Full series binge

Seven months after the tragic events that brought Season 3 to a close, everything has changed for Balthazar (Tomer Sisley). His partner, friend, and soul mate, Hélène Bach is gone. His wife Maya is in prison awaiting trial and Balthazar, partying harder than ever, is burning the midnight oil to keep his mind off the cursed child growing in its mother’s womb.

It all topples over when Captain Camille Costes (Constance Labbé) steps in to replace Hélène and work with Balthazar. Outspoken, humorous, and boundlessly energetic, Camille has a bone to pick with Balthazar, ever since that wild night they spent together seven years ago.

Camille, a whirlwind of undiluted energy, stirs the pot, forcing Balthazar to face his demons. France’s foremost forensic doctor will be spared nothing. Neither the shrink sessions, nor his colleague, Dr Olivia Vésinet, catapulted to the helm of the Forensic Institute following several reports on Balthazar’s non-compliance with protocol; nor Maya, who continues to torture him from prison; nor his own childhood, which comes back to haunt him. Will Balthazar finally catch a bloody break?

Coming Home

Acorn TV Exclusive

Premieres April 11 – Full series binge

Based on the novel by Rosamunde Pilcher, Coming Home follows the story of two young girls, Judith and Loveday, growing up in the charmed environment of a beautiful English house, their lives are suddenly and irrevocably transformed however by the advent of WWII.

Split in two parts, we observe the meeting of the two young girls in 1936 and the intertwining of their lives forever when Judith’s eccentric guardian Aunt Louise is killed in a car accident and Loveday’s family the Carey-Lewis’s become her surrogate family. Judith receives her own room at Nancherrow and it is here that she grows up. But when World War II appears on the horizon the salad days are gone. Judith joins the Wrens; Loveday’s brothers, Edward and Jeremy join the fight; the future is certainly uncertain.

Starring Kiera Knightly, Peter O’Toole, Penelope Keith, Emily Mortimer, Paul Bettany and Joanna Lumley.

Nancherrow

Premieres April 25 – Full series binge

Joanna Lumley, Katie Ryder Richardson, Donald Sinden and Susan Hampshire star in Rosamunde Pilcher’s Nancherrow, the sumptuous sequel to Coming Home.

Continuing the epic tale of the Carey-Lewis clan into the new-found peace of the late 1940’s and early 1950’s. Nancherrow follows the colonel’s daughter, Loveday as she unexpectedly inherits the family estate. Her recently widowed mother Diana (Joanna Limley) knows they can’t really afford to keep the house, as does the eccentric but devious family solicitor Robin Jarvis (Donald Sinden).
