ESPN brings hoops fans a blockbuster few days of live basketball, headlined by a massive NBA grudge match between the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers on Friday March 11 at 11.30am AEDT.

The highly anticipated Nets-76ers showdown has long been circled by fans on the NBA calendar, given the dramatic fallout from the mega trade between Australian Ben Simmons and superstar James Harden.

Both NBA stars swapped franchises in the recent trade period, with Simmons leaving Philadelphia behind to link with fellow Aussie Patty Mills in Brooklyn. Harden went the other way in the trade, waving goodbye to the Nets, amid on-court frustration.

Whilst Simmons is not expected to suit up against his old side on Friday, Harden has caught fire since joining with the 76ers.

The guard has averaged 26.8 points and 12 assists since stepping on court at his new home.

The 76ers sit in second spot in the Eastern Conference, whilst the Nets are on the slide, sitting in ninth place in the conference, amid a recent run of defeats.

Brooklyn superstar Kevin Durant will lead the Nets into Philadelphia, and all eyes in the NBA will be fixated on the clash, given the animosity that exists between former teammates Durant and Harden.

The pair have made no secret of their bad blood and with both sides possessing lineups stacked with NBA stars, the clash becomes must see TV.

Friday’s Nets-76ers showdown is followed by another NBA blockbuster as the Denver Nuggets meet the Golden State Warriors immediately after at 2pm AEDT on ESPN.

The basketball action continues live at 7.30pm AEDT when the Cairns Taipans clash with the Tasmanian JackJumpers.

Saturday March 12 sees another live NBL double header, with the Brisbane Bullets and Perth Wildcats kicking things off at 5.30pm AEDT.

Sunday March 13 has a live triple header of basketball, as three live games light up ESPN.

Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors collide on ESPN2 at 12.30pm AEDT, before another live NBL double header sees South East Melbourne Phoenix meet Melbourne United and Cairns Taipans battle Sydney Kings.
