27 years on, 10 News First’s Eammon Ashton-Atkinson’s heartfelt documentary travels to Amsterdam as the Kings Cross Steelers attempt victory at the 2018 event.
Follow the journey of three members of the club: the lesbian coach fighting misogyny, even in the gay world; the semi-pro player who spiraled into a depression after his coming out didn’t go as planned; and the prop who discovered he was a drag queen through the club.
