Nothing was going to compete with Ash Barty’s steamroller ride to the finals.

Nine slam dunk the win with the biggest numbers from the 2022 Australian Open Night – D9 (519,000 pre-match; 1,058,000; 652,000 S2) yet this year.
Nine first in both primary (31.9%) and network (40.5%) rankings.

A repeat of Border Security (456,000), leading the premiere of The Unseen Queen (339,000) on Seven lands second at 7pm, then third at 7:30pm. A repeat of MOVIE: Little Women (159,000) completes the night.
Seven second in both primary (14.9%) and network (21.3%) rankings.

10 struggling to get traction for The Project (225,000 6:30pm; 341,000 7pm), while I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! (508,000 avg (521,000 show; 494,000 elimination)) crashes to its lowest numbers yet this season. New and repeat NCIS (196,000; 124,000) flush out the schedule.
10 third in both primary (12.9%) and network (18.2%) rankings.

The ABC deliver 2022 Australian of the Year (302,000) – full congratulations to Dylan Alcott. Then it’s repeats through the rest of the night: Old People’s Home for Four Year Olds (152,000), Griff’s Great Australian Rail Trip (114,000), and QI (86,000).
ABC fourth in both primary (8.1%) and network (12.2%) rankings.

New eps of Great Continental Railway Journeys (146,000) and Alhambra: Secrets of the Ancient Builders (120,000) lead into a repeat of Australia In Colour (92,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.1%) and network (7.8%) rankings.
