It’s all fun over summer while Julia and her beloved Docteur traipse about in the so-called le jung, however it’s getting to the pointy bit and they better lift their ratings game as the competition comes a-knockin’.

A Current Affair (694,000) leaning into summer with reasonable numbers on Nine, followed by a repeat of what has become a favourite for audiences in
Travel Guides (469,000). The Weakest Link (258,000) slips out a repeat episode, then pirouettes into a repeat of MOVIE: What Happens In Vegas (142,000).
Nine first in both primary (19.4%) and network (27.1%) rankings.

BBL11: Melbourne Renegades v Sydney Sixers (306,000) does reasonable business for Seven.
Seven second in both primary (17.9%) and network (26.2%) rankings.

The Project (252,000 6:30pm; 393,000 7pm) on 10 keeps sliding in the weeknights, even in summer, and even when it is leading into the biggest show in primetime in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! (559,000) …which also slips night on night, now at its lowest this season. New episodes of NCIS (246,000) and NCIS: Los Angeles (146,000) keep the franchise bubbling.
10 third in both primary (14.4%) and network (21.6%) rankings.

ABC lead their night with strength with the summer edition of 7:30 (450,000), followed by a night of repeats: Anh’s Brush With Fame (248,000), Old People’s Home for Four Year Olds (168,000), Griff’s Great Australian Road Trip (173,000), and QI (101,000).
ABC fourth in both primary (10%) and network (15.4%) rankings.

All repeats for a Tuesday on SBS: Great Continental Railway Journeys (179,000), Robson Green: Walking Hadrian’s Wall (177,000), and Australia in Colour (127,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (5.6%) and network (9.7%) rankings.
