Australia’s emphatic victory over England in the second Ashes showdown has delivered record-breaking audiences for the Foxtel Group.
Data obtained by TV Blackbox reveals the FOX Cricket commercial-free day/night coverage from Adelaide is now the highest rating Test match in the history of the Foxtel Group.
Across the first four days, the Second Ashes Test has achieved an average national audience of 440,000 across the viewing platforms of Foxtel and Kayo. The impressive result is up 11% on the next highest rated match, the 2020/21 season Boxing Day Test v India.
As the Australia team piled on the runs on Sunday before sending England back into bat, Day 4 became the highest performing Test Day of all-time with a national average of 481,000 across the three sessions (Data includes Foxtel, Foxtel GO, Foxtel Now and Kayo).
With the live broadcast coverage airing in primetime across the eastern states, the 2nd Test has recorded the four highest rating session performances all-time for the Foxtel Group, with average audiences of over 500,000.
