Some of the world’s biggest tennis stars will be on display when the Mubadala World Championship begins this week.

Tennis action will return to Stan Sport this week with some of the world’s biggest stars competing in the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi.

Stan Sport’s ad-free, live and exclusive coverage begins today, Thursday 16 December to Saturday 20 December.

The tournament features some of the world’s best players, including Spain’s 20-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal, who spearheads the classy men’s field of Andy Murray, Andrey Rublev, Denis Shapovalov, Taylor Fritz and Dan Evans.

Rublev and Nadal received byes to the semi-finals leaving Fritz to square off with Shapovalov and Evans to tackle Murray in the battle of the Brits.

Andy Murray, who recently split from coach Jamie Delgado will be looking to reignite his career. Murray is now working with German Jan de Witt, who has coached Gael Monfils, Gilles Simon and Nikoloz Basilashvili.

On the women’s side, Switzerland’s Olympic gold medalist Belinda Bencic will meet Ons Jabeur, the highest ranked Arab player ever. Bencic was set to meet Great Britain’s surprise US Open winner Emma Raducanu, but the teenager pulled out after testing positive for COVID-19.
