The Amazon original movie had its Australian premiere held the iconic Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace Cremorne in Sydney.
Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman walked the red carpet tonight at the Australian premiere of her upcoming film, Amazon Original Movie Being The Ricardos held at Sydney’s iconic Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace Cremorne.
The showing was hosted ahead of the films exclusive release on Amazon Prime Video later this month.
Kidman, who stars as Lucille Ball in the film, walked the red carpet with husband Keith Urban before introducing the premiere screening on stage for guests.
Joining them on the carpet were The Voice judges Rita Ora, Guy Sebastian and Jessica Mauboy. Kidman also posed on the red carpet with Hushidar Kharas, Head of Amazon Prime Video Australia, and Tyler Bern, Head of Content Australia, Amazon Studios.
Lucille Ball (Kidman) and Desi Arnaz (Javier Bardem) are threatened by shocking personal accusations, a political smear and cultural taboos in Academy Award-winning writer and director Aaron Sorkin’s behind-the-scenes drama Being The Ricardos.
A revealing glimpse of the couple’s complex romantic and professional relationship, the film takes audiences into the writers’ room, onto the soundstage and behind closed doors with Ball and Arnaz during one critical production week of their ground-breaking sitcom I Love Lucy.
