Multi-Grammy Award winner Michael Bublé will host a night of comedy, music and Christmas spirit in Michael Bublé’s Christmas in the City, a glittering special premiering Wednesday, December 22, at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Bublé will be joined at Studio 8H in New York’s Rockefeller Center by Leon Bridges, Camila Cabello, Jimmy Fallon, Kermit the Frog and Hannah Waddingham for a series of special performances and comedy sketches.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of his chart-topping holiday season album Christmas, a 48-piece orchestra will bring to life renditions of Bublé’s best known Christmas tracks.
“I’m especially excited about this year’s show and our phenomenal guests,”
– Bublé said.
“It will be a night to remember, and I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone.”
Bublé recently rereleased his Christmas album, which has remained a global chart-topper for a decade, adding seven tracks on a bonus CD, including two newly recorded songs: The Christmas Sweater, a winter wonderland duet with Rod Stewart, and a new version of Let It Snow! with the BBC’s Big Band Orchestra.
Michael Bublé’s Christmas in the City is produced by Lorne Michaels, Bublé, Bruce Allen and Erin Doyle.
