Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs’ potential playoffs hopes go on the line against the hottest team in the NFL, the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers in Week Nine NFL on ESPN.

ESPN’s Week Nine coverage includes six live games, beginning on Friday November 5 at 11.15am AEDT with the New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts.

The Jets stunned the NFL in Week Eight, courtesy of an upset win over the Bengals, which was just their second of the season.

Meanwhile, Indianapolis lost a crucial showdown with the Titans, the team that sits above them on top of the AFC South.

The defeat has provided Tennessee breathing room in the conference, and the Colts will want to avoid successive defeats at all costs against the Jets.

Monday November 8 then sees four live games back to back, beginning at 5am AEDT.

First up on ESPN at 5am AEDT is the crunch clash between the Denver Broncos and Dallas Cowboys.

The Cowboys will be hoping QB Dak Prescott is healthy to make his return, after missing the Week Eight win over the Vikings.

Meanwhile the Broncos had a confidence-boosting win over Washington, leaving them delicately placed at 4-4 at the midway point of the season.

The second 5am AEDT kickoff over on ESPN2/ ESPN App sees the Las Vegas Raiders looking to continue their charge against the New York Giants.

Amazingly, Las Vegas have not been faltered by the controversial resignation of former coach Jon Gruden.

The Raiders form has fans thinking off the post-season already, but progress through the AFC West is still by no means assured and Las Vegas must avoid any slipups in New York.

Week Nine’s feature game comes at 8.25am AEDT when the Green Bay Packers meet the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Packers stamped their ticket as the in-form side of the NFL, downing previously undefeated Arizona in a thriller last round.

It leaves Kansas City facing a daunting task of stopping Green Bay’s streak.

At 4-4, the Chiefs post-season progression is looking unlikely and Patrick Mahomes will have to get his side firing in the second half of the campaign.

A win over the Packers, would be the ideal tonic.

At 12.15pm AEDT, the Tennessee Titans and Los Angeles Rams cap off the four game live marathon, on ESPN.

The Cardinals loss to the Packers has allowed Los Angeles to draw level with them atop the NFC West.

Sean McVay has his side firing at a crucial time of the season, and the Rams hardly looked troubled in a comfortable 38-22 victory over Houston last round.

Tennessee extended its own position, leading the AFC South, but face a stern test in the in-form Rams.

Tuesday November 9 sees a crucial Monday Night Football clash as the Pittsburgh Steelers look to continue their climb in the AFC North against the Chicago Bears at 12.15pm AEDT.

The Bears have dropped to 3-5 after a positive start to the season and run into a Steelers side with renewed life, riding a three game winning run.
