New documentary special is HUNTING HITLER’S U-BOAT

The search is on for a WWII U-Boat that could be hidden somewhere in the Atlantic Sea.

This is no ordinary U-boat – in the final chapter of the war, it is believed the Third Reich dispatched a covert fleet of retrofitted subs loaded with a fortune in artworks, antiquities and gold.

Their sole and sinister mission was to fund Nazi efforts post war and give rise to a Fourth Reich.

The subs were never found. If controversial treasure hunter Roger Miklos is right, that might be about to change.

Hunting Hitler’s U-Boat premieres Friday, 22 October at 8.30pm on SBS and On Demand

  1. This is one of the worst documentaries I have ever seen – it is so badly scripted and edited it would look bad on Youtube. And such a pity, could be fascinating, but every move is repeated two or three times and it drags on.
