In Monday nights episode of The Block, it’s Backyard Week on The Block and our contestants have $35,000 to spend.

Kirsty and Jesse won Hell Week with their incredible rooms and hallways, but not everyone is happy on The Block.

Ronnie and Georgia have a lot to say, criticising their painting and saying they didn’t deserve two tens.

The teams are upset that Kirsty and Jesse didn’t complete their second hallway upstairs, Josh and Luke who got hammered for not finishing.

Mitch and Mark are also worried everyone is not being judged on a level playing field.

In Kirsty and Jesse’s defence, they were only told what they had to do, and it didn’t include a hallway upstairs.

Georgia believes the All Stars this year are being judged at a higher standard.

It’s Backyard Week on The Block and our contestants have $35,000 to spend.

Already there are some issues with Keith and Dan and inspections, they must train the teams’ landscapers about The Block’s strict protocols.

Luke is annoyed at Kirsty and Jesse again. Margaret River Trees sent an email to all teams weeks ago and only Kirsty and Jesse and Mitch and Mark got back to them.  There was a budget, and it was first in, first dressed.  Luke calls Kirsty a little cheat, but isn’t she just doing the right thing and replying to the email earlier?

Danny Wallis is back on The Block this week, as part of the Domain Buyers Jury night. Buyers will be invited to The Block to pick their favourite house. It means the houses must be cleaned, which is a bit troublesome for Josh and Luke as their house is a mess.

All the contestants are building their pools this week, which always has unique challenges.  This includes craning the pools in and the order to crane pools in, which causes more issues on The Block.

It turns out Mitch and Mark spent most of the Margaret River Tree sponsor budget, not Kirsty and Jesse. Luke doesn’t have a problem with this for some reason. Meanwhile his anger is growing.

The Block airs Sunday to Wednesday on Channel 9 and 9Now
