HAVE YOU BEEN PAYING ATTENTION? getting caught up as a casualty in the 7:30pm battle.
Nine’s Monday always starts well when A Current Affair (801,000) does over 800k, and this always helps The Block (876,000) deliver strong, slot-winning numbers. Under Investigation (412,000) finishes its season run with OK numbers in the later night. Then the schedule splits again based on code to deliver 100% Footy (70,000) or Released to Kill Again (125,000).
Nine first in both primary (21.7%) and network (28.7%) rankings.
Home and Away (631,000) still above 600k is good business, owning second place for Seven out of their 6pm news product. SAS Australia (599,000) hovering in the high 500’s/low 600’s is acceptable but not competitive, and a repeat of MOVIE: Terminator: Dark Fate (234,000) helps harvest some eyeballs into the later and late night.
Seven second in both primary (18.6%) and network (25.3%) rankings.
The Project (333,000 6:30pm; 532,000 7pm) ticks up for 10 to almost acceptable levels, however the concern will be for The Masked Singer Australia (658,000 avg (597,000 show; 719,000 reveal)) which looks to be all over the place, sliding into second with only a week to go. One of 10’s two weekly high spots Have You Been Paying Attention? (684,000) also ends up getting punished because of the less-than-stellar lead-in. Comedy fills out the rest of the night, with Just For Laughs Uncut (213,000), a repeat of Just For Laughs (114,000), and Becky Lucas: Live at Enmore Cafe (77,000).
10 third in both primary (14.8%) and network (21.2%) rankings.
The 7:30 (649,000)/Australian Story (602,000) double on ABC Mondays can be hit and miss, and tonight was more hit than miss and slid into third place. The Australian Soccer club ownership situation revealed on Four Corners (431,000) did reasonably, but down on last week, as was Media Watch (419,000). China Tonight (211,000) and a repeat of Road To Now (111,000) fill out the evening.
ABC fourth in both primary (12.5%) and network (17.1%) rankings.
Monday on SBS runs to script: The Assassination of JFK: Ten Mistakes (157,000), Secret Scotland (182,000), and 24 Hours in Emergency (130,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.4%) and network (7.6%) rankings.
