10’s MAKING IT AUSTRALIA is in all sorts of trouble as Seven’s SAS AUSTRALIA revels in clear air for second.

Nine’s A Current Affair (762,000) continues its ownership of the 7pm slot (even if the number shrinks), as does The Block (855,000) which slides to the end of the week with identical numbers to last night and still first at 7:30pm. Paramedics (319,000) does good business in the later night, and a repeat of
Kings Cross ER (138,000) completes the win.
Nine first in both primary (22.4%) and network (29.6%) rankings.

Home and Away (620,000) maintaining the rage for Seven at 7pm. SAS Australia (606,000) enjoys the lesser competition and lifts though land in third place in the slot. The season one finale of RFDS (417,000) does reasonable business, and as we see from the Total TV numbers (below) drama has a very reasonable half-life in the following week – expect this to improve significantly. A new episode of The Rookie (173,000) complete’s the schedule.
Seven second in both primary (20.6%) and network (28.3%) rankings.

Wednesdays on the ABC continue to shine. The 7:30 (657,000)/Hard Quiz (630,000) double slide into second, and even though Question Everything (429,000) delivered a brilliant episode it slides on last week’s bounce. The series finale of Rosehaven (422,000) was sweet and delightful and did reasonably and is sure to pick up further in next week’s Total TV report. A repeat of QI (243,000) and a new ep of Would I Lie To You? (63,000) round out the night.
ABC third in both primary (14%) and network (18.4%) rankings.

The Project (304,000 6:30pm; 492,000 7pm) soldiers on in perennial third/fourth place, sadly as does Making It Australia (325,000) which has more than sunk, it has started digging. The premiere lifted slightly in Total TV, however even that won’t be enough to see a second season of this entirely lovely show. A triple ep repeat of Bull (170,000; 115,000; 67,000) treats 10’s audience with contempt.
10 fourth in both primary (9.1%) and network (15.8%) rankings.

A repeat of Tony Robinson’s World By Rail (207,000), followed by the premiere of documentary series Lost For Words (178,000) and a new episode of
War of the Worlds (64,000) is how Wednesday looked for SBS.
SBS fifth in both primary (4.6%) and network (8%) rankings.
