Well if you blinked you might have missed it, but HBO has used yesterdays Emmy Awards to release a teaser promo for the highly anticipated Sex and the City reboot.
The five second promo (yep thats it) provides fans their first look at the characters returning for the upcoming revival And Just Like That. The new series is expected to premiere later this year.
And Just Like That.. features Sarah Jessica Parker reprising the role of Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes and Kristin Davis as Charlotte York. Production of the much-anticipated ten-episode series has been taking place over the past two months in New York City.
And Just Like That… follows the beloved characters as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.
The previously announced cast includes Sara Ramírez, Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson and Evan Handler.
SJP has been teasing fans on Instagram with behind-the-scenes tidbits, including this script revealing the title of the first episode, Hello It’s Me.
When asked in the comments if she was excited, she said:
“So many feelings. Cynthia walked into the trailer, I wouldn’t let go of her!”
