AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS is set to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in October.
Well, we can see where this one’s going: there’s no plucky female journalist in the book. There is, however, a detective called Fix, so I assume they’ve given much of his role to her. And no doubt she’ll save the day, too. Would be nice if an adaption of a book actually stuck to the book these days.
