AIRDATE | GRUEN returns with brand new season

The ABC has now confirmed an October airdate for a brand new season of Gruen.

The top-rating program which reviews the advertising industry is now locked in to return on Wednesday October 13. The show is set to replace Question Everything in the schedule. Both formats are produced by CJZ and are hosted by Wil Anderson.

As previously revealed by TV Blackbox, the ABC already has plans in place for an additional season of Gruen to air in 2022, dispelling fears that the popular format was set to be replaced by Question Everything.

Pre-production for the thirteenth season of Gruen is underway, with the regular panel of Todd Sampson and Russel Howcroft signing on. A number of the other panel members from across the advertising industry are believed to also have signed, including Dee Madigan.

To cover the hefty schedule of two programs running one after the other it is understood the production team has been split to cover the load. Agencies have been contacted and are also hard at work on their various briefs for popular segment The Pitch.

Gruen season 13 premieres Wednesday October 13 at 8:30pm on ABC and iview
