Fans will enjoy a spectacular day of Spring Racing on the Seven Network today, with live and free coverage of the best thoroughbred action from Girls’ Day In Race Day at Flemington and Run To The Rose Day at Kembla Grange.

Saturday’s racing is highlighted by the $1 million Group 1 Makybe Diva Stakes (1600m) at Flemington and the Group 2 Run To The Rose at Kembla Grange.

Seven’s coverage begins at 12.00pm AEST on Channel 7, 7two and 7plus and will be again be led by Australia’s pre-eminent sport broadcaster, Bruce McAvaney. Racing’s #1 commentary team will also include national racing icon Michelle Payne, who remains the only female jockey to have won the Melbourne Cup, along with fan favourites Jason Richardson, Katelyn Mallyon and Deane Lester, while Sky Racing’s Lizzie Jelfs will be trackside at Kembla Grange.

The Makybe Diva Stakes is headlined by Incentivise, who is shaping up as one of this spring’s most exciting horses after taking all before him in Queensland with six straight wins. However, the emerging gelding is up against a crack field that includes Cox Plate winner Sir Dragonet and fellow Group 1 winners Mo’Unga and Tofane, while Japanese import Keiai Nautique will be striving to repeat his brother Fierce Impact’s victory in last year’s race.

Sires’ Produce winner Anamoe has emerged as the horse to beat in The Run To The Rose, but the Godolphin colt is only one of four Group 1 winners in the race alongside Stay Inside (Golden Slipper), Converge (JJ Atkins Stakes) and Captivant (Champagne Stakes). Boom colt Remarque is another contender to watch, while In The Congo will be striving to give jockey Josh Parr his fourth win in the race.

Other Group 2 races not to miss on Saturday include the Let’s Elope Stakes (1400m) and Bobbie Lewis Quality (1200m) at Flemington, and the Theo Marks Stakes (1300m) and Sheraco Stakes (1200m) at Kembla Grange.

Over the next 12 weeks, Seven will bring fans Spring Racing’s finest thoroughbred action from around Australia, including the Caulfield Cup, Everest, Cox Plate and Golden Eagle.
