Homicide with Ron Iddles goes behind the news headlines on a minute-by-minute journey with Australian’s greatest detective, Ron Iddles, as he searches for truth.

Gina Rossato’s naked body was found dumped in a ravine, her throat was cut and she’d been beaten with a belt.

She’d gone missing the day before, after catching a cab home from work in the early hours.

Supplementing Iddles’ story will be insights from the victims’ families and friends. Many of these families have never told their story on television. We’ll also hear from the criminal prosecutors and hard-bitten journalists who covered each case.

In the cluttered world of true crime shows, it’s rare to hear the intricate details of a murder from the investigator who solved the crime.

Homicide with Ron Iddles is the closest you can get to being the lead investigator on a murder case, don’t miss out.

Homicide with Ron Iddles – Episode 5, Gina Rossato airs Sunday Sept 12 at 9pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus

    • Hi Marz – turns out the press release was missing a comma. Hey presto all fixed! Thanks for letting us know. 🙂

  1. I must have missed something…did the Taxi Driver actually drop her off at home? Is this correct? Did someone verify that she was indeed dropped off?

    • Yes all the taxi drivers clients after Gina was all verified and they checked the data of the taxi’s records. All the clients after Gina confirmed that he picked them all up and dropped them to their destination 🙂

  2. Cannot believe that they let the butcher off the hook knowing that he was a married boy friend with expertise in knives on the basis of his wifes alibi. No search warrant on the shop??

  3. In my opinion the investigation needed to focus more on the son and ex-husband. This was not a crime of passion but a lesson given in reply for a broken marriage. A son who witnessed his mother’s affairs to his disappointment and presumably still in contact with his father back in Italy. A professional hit no doubt with no evidence at the crime scene. A glass bowl missing now placed in a cupboard as a gift to some-one who has no idea the intrinsic value it holds.

  4. I just watched the program tonight the famous Ron iddle’s. I just wanted to ask did they ever look up a max living in that area that owned a green holden Kingswood in 1982 or even present. I don’t think they had technology back in those days too search that type of stuff up but could be worth it. It annoys me because this murderer is still on the loose probably laughing. Huge fan of Ron iddle’s. The taxi drivers allaby’s were verified, the son no evidence that he could of done it even if there was motive the flat wasn’t a crime scene nor outside. The church she went to with one of her best friends that was murdered as well could be connected. For the trifle dish this unknown max could possibly have it or done anything with it. I’m no genius but I watched the program and missed a few parts having a smoke lol, but I did wonder about her best friends murderer and Gina’s murderer sound linked and if there was a possible max living in that area in 1982 or even present with a green holden Kingswood.
