Seven and Nine both really missing their football codes. What of their Thursdays come October?!
The now traditional Thursday triple ep of Home and Away (567,000; 508,000 late=7:30/8pm) on Seven delivers its best figures of the night, which in non-AFL states then parlayed into a repeat of MOVIE: The Proposal (92,000). This was followed by The Front Bar (381,000) which played much earlier in AFL states, and was followed by a repeat of Australia: Now and Then (98,000) to complete the night.
Seven first in both primary (18.9%) and network (27.6%) rankings.
A Current Affair (741,000) slides in as Nine’s best again, as the night fills the gaps left by the NRL now that the finals are here – RBT (463,000) and then repeats of Australian Crime Stories (345,000) and Reported Missing (168,000) fill out the schedule.
Nine second in both primary (17.4%) and network (24.7%) rankings.
10’s The Project (276,000 6:30pm; 482,000 7pm) slips toward the end of the week (as usual), however Mirror Mirror (613,000) continues its average from last night and helps 10 win the slot decidedly (it didn’t have heaps of competition). Gogglebox Australia (633,000) burst back onto our screens to continue its winning ways. Repeats of The Cheap Seats (205,000) and Blue Bloods (76,000) completed the schedule.
10 third in both primary (16.7%) and network (22.6%) rankings.
7:30 (563,000) does reasonable business, though coupled with Foreign Correspondent (387,000) the double landed fourth in the slot. Q+A (313,000) lifted on last week though continues to perform poorly in its Thursday home. 9/11: Life Under Attack (221,000) completes Aunty’s night.
ABC fourth in both primary (12.2%) and network (16.3%) rankings.
SBS’s Thursday started with a repeat of Great Asian Railway Journeys (228,000), and two documentaries 9/11: The Unheeded Warning (138,000) and 9/11 Kids (42,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.6%) and network (8.8%) rankings.
