BROADCAST GUIDE | The return of CRISTIANO RONALDO live and exclusive this weekend on Optus Sport

All eyes will be on Cristiano Ronaldo as he makes his Premier League return for Manchester United this Sunday when they take on Newcastle United, live and exclusive this weekend.

Optus Head of TV and Content Corin Dimopoulos says Ronaldo’s historic return will be amplified by the streaming platform’s ability to bring football fans even closer to the occasion.

“We don’t want to be known for simply broadcasting some of the season’s most exciting games, we want to make our customers feel like they’re pitchside with their favourite players.

“To celebrate Cristiano’s second debut with Man United, viewers will be able to watch our dedicated Live PlayerCam designed to follow Ronaldo’s every move throughout the game.

The PlayerCam shows up alongside the main live match on our home page and customers can use a companion device, like a tablet or phone, for the ultimate second-screen experience.”

A ‘Ronaldo Returns’ section dedicated to all of this content celebrating his Manchester United return is prominent on Optus Sport.

While on OS 2, Optus Sport will feature a CR7 marathon beginning Saturday morning where viewers can relive some of Ronaldo’s classic matches from his first stint in the Premier League, including that infamous hat-trick against Newcastle.
