Scandal brings big numbers as THE BLOCK challenges Seven’s singing show as AUSTRALIAN SURVIVOR potters along in the background.

Seven push into a strong semi-final of The Voice Australia (1,088,000), delivering another big win with one more to come next Sunday. Homicide: With Ron Iddles (567,000) slides up on last week but not enough to win the later night, with The Real Manhunter (187,000) finishing things up. The Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games closing ceremony does reasonable but not multi-channel-winning business on 7mate also (a small pup saw to that).
Seven first in both primary (26.7%) and network (33.7%) rankings.

The Block (1,032,000) delivers its best this season – the benefit of a big week focusing on the scandal, and still fighting with it’s competition on Seven. 60 Minutes (581,000) up by a solid chunk on last week, as The First 48 (122,000) rounds out the schedule.
Nine second in both primary (22.4%) and network (29.8%) rankings.

10 valiantly soldier on with The Sunday Project (342,000 6:30pm; 472,000 7pm) – up marginally on last week while still struggling to get traction. Australian Survivor (689,000) does good-but-not-good-enough business for its third last ep this season, even up against its competition. 10 then piss away any of that goodwill with a new then double repeat ep of FBI (290,000; 204,000; 125,000).
10 third in both primary (12.5%) and network (17.4%) rankings.

David Attenborough’s Global Adventure (352,000) leads the ABC’s Sunday, chased down by a brilliant ep of The Newsreader (444,000), up ever-so-slightly on last week. Traces (145,000) and a repeat of Les Norton (52,000) complete the night.
ABC fourth in both primary (9.6%) and network (13.2%) rankings.

A slower Sunday for SBS, starting with The Real Lawrence of Arabia (171,000), and rolling through with a double ep of Generation 9/11 (57,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (3.8%) and network (5.8%) rankings.
