Author, Wai Chim, Eliminated From Australian Survivor.
She was hoping to pen a victorious ending to her Australian Survivor: Brains V Brawn experience, but when Flick busted out a hidden Immunity Idol at tonight’s Tribe Council, the remaining votes fell on Wai. Alas, her number was up and she joined the Jury with only four Castaways remaining.
Earlier, the four original Brains decided that Flick would be the next to go. Unbeknownst to everyone else, she was planning to bust up the alliance by using her Idol and taking down George. The first Brain on her list to corral was Wai, who revealed she was ready to rise to the top and take out George.
The Immunity Challenge was a mix of strength, accuracy, and puzzle skills. Cara started with an impressive lead and was way ahead of the Tribe, until she got to the final element: the puzzle. Halfway through the challenge, George noticed Wai struggling, unable to make it past the first obstacle. To Wai’s surprise, he came to her aid, risking his own chance in the Challenge. But in the end, it was Hayley who once again secured Immunity.
Back at camp, George reinforced the decision to vote for Flick. The others agreed. George took Flick aside and told her to look for an Idol because that’s all that would save her. Already in possession of an Idol, she heads off on a fake hunt.
Not long after, George saw Flick sitting by the water, noticeably not looking for an Idol. Suspicious that she may already have one, he orchestrated Plan B with Cara: Wai. As the Tribe made their way to Tribal Council, Hayley and Wai were oblivious to the new plan.
At Tribal Council, Flick stunned her Tribemates by playing her Idol, proving George’s paranoia right. And he and Cara stuck to their plan. With that, Wai’s torch was snuffed.
Tomorrow night on the penultimate Australian Survivor: Brains V Brawn, there’s trouble in paradise for Cara and George as the once unbreakable couple, finally turn on each other.
