Sky News presenter Sharri Markson has secured a one-on-one interview with former President of the United States, Donald Trump.
The new interview with Trump will be broadcast on Sky News Australia as part of an upcoming documentary being produced by Markson titled “What Really Happened In Wuhan”. The News Corp journalist is also releasing a book on Sept 29 with the same title.
The upcoming documentary will feature the first sit-down interview for an Australian broadcast media outlet with Donald Trump since he was elected president in 2016.
The promo for the special promises new details will be revealed about how the deadly COVID-19 pandemic began and explores the theory that a leak of the virus from a top-secret laboratory in Wuhan lead to a trail of destruction.
As U.S. President, Trump was privy to the top-secret intelligence on Wuhan and in the interview, Sharri cross-examines Trump about his knowledge of when and how COVID-19 emerged and his claims surrounding the evidence for a lab-leak.
In addition to Trump, Markson will also speak with Chinese whistleblowers, former head of British intelligence service, Mi6, Sir Richard Dearlove and then-U.S. Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe.
