The PARALYMPICS take off as THE BACHELOR AUSTRALIA continues to slide for 10.
Nine’s best again is A Current Affair (718,000), though The Block (668,000) gets some clear air and wins the primetime slot with its second best numbers for the week. Paramedics (449,000) slides on last week, and Australian Crime Stories (106,000) completes the schedule.
Nine first in primary (19.8%) and second in network (27.8%) rankings.
Seven’s best is also at 7pm – Home and Away (637,000) still above 600k is good business. Nurses (421,000) is down on last week, as is RFDS (465,000) though the first night of the Paralympic Games will have offered some competition. The Rookie (214,000) rounds out the night.

The ABC do reasonably with 7:30 (560,000), and even Hard Quiz (568,000) is nearly 100k off its usual pace. Question Everything (453,000) also drops 100k from last week. Rosehaven (371,000), and repeats of Would I Lie To You? (256,000), and Staged (82,000) all complete Aunty’s evening.

10’s Wednesday is in trouble, slipping into fourth: The Project (267,000 6:30pm; 479,000 7pm) slips under 500k, and The Bachelor Australia (445,000) continues to shrink. Triple repeat eps of Bull (175,000; 126,000; 98,000) round out the night.
10 fourth in primary (9.3%) and tied third in network (15.7%) rankings.
SBS starts with a repeat of Tony Robinson’s World By Rail (,000),
then offers the second ep of the excellent doco What Does Australia Really Think About…? (240,000) and a new season two ep of War of the Worlds (89,000).
