With children’s productions, we’ve already seen all the commercial networks drop pretty much all their local shows…not only do Australian shows sell well internationally, it is important in the education of children and providing many jobs, including launching careers for cast and crew. Without quotas, children just don’t have choice and we can’t just rely on ABC Kids/Me to bare to brunt, especially when government funding has been frozen.
