Didn’t watch linear broadcast TV last night? Same as most people, it turns out.
Nine deliver a softer A Current Affair (694,000) then split based on state, with your primary channel night looking like Thursday Night NRL Live (381,000) and Thursday Night Knock-Off (115,000) OR RBT (263,000), Australian Crime Stories (221,000), and Reported Missing (113,000).
Nine first in both primary (20.1%) and network (28.1%) rankings.
A triple episode of Home and Away (625,000; 546,000 late) starts solid for Seven, and then because the schedule gets mixed to support The Front Bar (391,000) the other programs – My Impossible House (108,000) and 10 Years Younger In 10 Days (158,000) – struggle.
Seven second in both primary (19.9%) and network (27.9%) rankings.
ABC starts the night with its best, as 7:30 (594,000) is the highest rating in primetime. Foreign Correspondent (443,000) follows, and Q+A (337,000) delivers some better (but still not great) ratings news. Fake or Fortune? (205,000) completes the night.
ABC third in primary (12.1%) and fourth in network (17.5%) rankings.
10 will be pleased that The Project (308,000 6:30pm; 529,000 7pm) has maintained a sense of ratings normalcy this week, and even moreso that The Bachelor Australia (487,000) didn’t shrink to past ratings horrors. Only 2 weeks to go for this franchise. A double repeat of Law & Order: SVU (205,000; 169,000) and new Blue Bloods (95,000) filled out the schedule.
10 fourth in primary (11.1%) and third in network (18%) rankings.
SBS offer up their regular Thursday:
repeat Great Asian Railway Journeys (181,000),
Incredible Journeys with Simon Reeve (123,000), and
The Good Fight (61,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.3%) and network (8.6%) rankings.
