Seven’s take on the singing reality franchise stays above one million as 10’s Survivor pushes out 9’s The Block!

Seven smiling all the way to the programmer’s office at the moment, with Home and Away (733,000) keeping strong numbers, and The Voice Australia (1,066,000) still over one million viewers. That’s a success in anybody’s language. The battle for later night picked up with the premiere of Australia: Then And Now (516,000) benefitting from a strong lead-in. Gordon, Gino & Fred: American Road Trip (163,000) sadly don’t fare as well.
Seven first in both primary (24.9%) and network (32.5%) rankings.

Pre-Games, Nine would have been quite chuffed with A Current Affair (823,000) doing numbers this good, and even The Block (634,000) above 600k again, but last night that put it in third at 7:30pm. Not great, however The Block is a marathon compared to The Voice’s sprint. The Hundred with Andy Lee (484,000) also didn’t achieve what it might have with the smaller lead-in, however it also landed second in the later night bundle. A repeat of Travel Guides (293,000) did the best out of the late night stuff.
Nine second in both primary (19.7%) and network (26.4%) rankings.

10 seeing better results for The Project (326,000 6:30pm; 546,000 7pm), while Australian Survivor (664,000) lifts again off the back of a strong episode and the merge in the offing. Second at 7:30pm. The Cheap Seats (313,000) lifted to its second best of the run so far though third in the later night rumble. Ross Noble: Brain Dump (92,000) completes 10’s night.
10 third in both primary (12.4%) and network (19.2%) rankings.

7:30 (595,000) and Back To Nature (363,000) launch the ABC’s night, continuing into The Grid: Powering The Future – A Catalyst Special (315,000). The Chemical World (195,000) finishes the run.
ABC fourth in both primary (10.6%) and network (15%) rankings.

A repeat of Who Do You Think You Are? (188,000) on SBS offers a prelude to their public affairs night, with Insight (170,000), a repeat of Dateline (111,000), and The Feed (62,000) all a little soft on last week.
SBS fifth in both primary (4.1%) and network (7%) rankings.
