The ground-breaking new original production, Wild Wests: Tales from Tiger Town continues tonight on Foxtel and streaming on Kayo.
The series follows every aspect of the Tigers’ 2021 season – the triumphs and tears – taking viewers into the inner sanctum of the rugby league club during four, hour-long episodes.
Episode two follows the Wests Tigers’ Round 5 – 9 matches, including the challenging Round 5 loss at Leichhardt Oval to the Cowboys which saw the team booed by their home crowd, the impact felt by the loss of club legend Tommy Raudonikis and the controversial Round 6 golden point loss to the Rabbitohs.
The episode shines a spotlight on the on-field leadership of fullback Adam Doueihi, with his passion and competitiveness on full display against Adam Reynolds and the Rabbitohs, and fans are introduced to loveable larrikin Luciano Leilua, who proves a key to keeping spirits high while results aren’t falling the team’s way.
The episode also features conversations between Tigers legends Benny Elias, Steve ‘Blocker’ Roach and Robbie Farah, interviews with the club’s most dedicated fans and an inside look at the game day role of assistant coach Wayne ‘Snoopy’ Collins.
