Reality TV fans looking to get their daily dose of drama with The Real Housewives, go Below Deck or binge-watch every season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, can now do so more easily than ever before.

NBCUniversal International (NBCUI) announced that hayu – the all-reality TV and ad-free subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service – is now available through Xbox consoles. Owned and operated by Microsoft, Xbox is a global industry leader in technology.

Reality TV lovers in 22 territories can now watch their favourite reality content via the hayu app through the Microsoft Store on Xbox  – enabling more ways for subscribers to access the service within Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.

Targeting the broad base of viewers who are fans of the reality genre, hayu offers over 8,000 episodes of top reality TV content. The service offers extensive choice, with a wide variety of unscripted sub-genres in English language including: Home and Design, Dating, Cooking, Crime, and Fashion. hayu’s breadth of content uniquely super-serves reality fans, and subscribers don’t have to worry about spoilers as the vast majority of US shows are available on hayu the same day as their US broadcast.

Hendrick McDermott, Managing Director, hayu, says;

“This has been an incredible year for hayu with 2021 marking our fifth year of operation in the UK, Ireland and Australia along with launches in new territories and extended distribution globally through partnerships with affiliates and device manufacturers.

“This exciting partnership with Xbox  – hayu’s first console partner – extends our distribution to more devices and makes the service even more accessible. Through Xbox’s industry-leading range of consoles and the Microsoft Store on Xbox, reality fans can enjoy a seamless and convenient viewing experience of the best reality TV – all through one entertainment hub.”

In multiple markets hayu has distinguished itself as the must-have, all-reality service. Fans of reality globally can now subscribe for $6.99 per month.
