Once the News was over the audience went pretty much anywhere BUT free-to-air TV.

Depending on if you had AFL or other stuff on the primary channel of Seven this is how the numbers played out: triple ep of Home and Away (530,000; 453,00 late) split across 7TWO in AFL states, coupled with Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football (423,000); or from 8:30pm a repeat of MOVIE: The Equalizer 2 (171,000).
Seven first in both primary (21.3%) and network (32.2%) rankings.

No NRL because it’s an Origin week so Nine have to rely on A Current Affair (710,000) and repeats of RBT (435,000), Paramedics (364,000), and King’s Cross ER (297,000).
Nine second in both primary (18.4%) and network (25.7%) rankings.

7:30 (575,000) starts the night as the ABC’s best, with Foreign Correspondent (399,000) leading into Q+A (354,000) which jumps up nearly 100k on last week. Australia Debates (83,000) trails off into the evening.
ABC third in both primary (11.1%) and network (17.5%) rankings.

The Project (290,000 6:30pm; 404,000 7pm) opens 10’s account in an average kind of way–still their best by a country mile–as it then heads into more royal dross (two nights in a row!) with 10 News First Presents Diana’s Decades (213,000). Then they offer up two repeat eps of Law & Order: SVU (108,000; 132,000), and then a new episode of Blue Bloods (86,000).
10 fourth in both primary (7.4%) and network (14.4%) rankings.

SBS start with a repeat of Great Asian Railway Journeys (190,000) and then the latest episode of The Good Fight (93,000), all before delivering the Tour de France live (stage 18) (189,000; 91,000 late).
SBS fifth in both primary (6.4%) and network (10.2%) rankings.
