Night 2 got very, very real for Beauty and the Geek.

A solid win for Seven as their assets spread across the night, even though none of them won their timeslot. Home and Away (633,000) does well, and Farmer Wants A Wife (660,000) lands second at 7:30pm, down only marginally on past episodes. US dramas 9-1-1: Lone Star (265,000) and S.W.A.T. (145,000) see out the night.
Seven first in both primary (18.7%) and network (27.6%) rankings.

Nine manage to turn wins almost everywhere into second place–they even won the 6pm/6:30pm News. A Current Affair (783,000) goes large however it is Beauty and the Geek (622,000) diving significantly into night two that will be a concern (similar to Farmer last week). Can it bounce back? Emergency (299,000) and then split-footy offerings 100% Footy (59,000) and Footy Classified (113,000) bring the night home.
Nine second in both primary (17.8%) and network (24.9%) rankings.

A great start to two big nights for 10. The Project (336,000 6:30pm; 527,000 7pm) benefits as the lead-in to the part 1 finale of MasterChef Australia (799,000). This is a much-needed boost for the franchise and a great timeslot win for the Under 50’s network*. The bubble carried through to Have You Been Paying Attention? (674,000) which didn’t deliver its season’s best numbers however was still very strong. Another Just For Laughs (236,000) special rounded out the schedule.
10 third in both primary (16.9%) and network (24.3%) rankings.

If only the pairing was different for the ABC. 7:30 (715,000) is massive by itself, however connected to Courtney Act’s One Plus One (380,000) for the hour means the double come fourth in the slot. Four Corners (450,000) and Media Watch (451,000) both up slightly, while Murder 24/7 (202,000) also ticks up in the late evening.
ABC fourth in both primary (12.2%) and network (16.3%) rankings.

SBS’s night started with a repeat of Secrets of the Tower of London (145,000), and then new episodes of Secret Scotland (163,000) and 24 Hours in Emergency (124,000) as the Tour takes a well-deserved day off.
SBS fifth in both primary (4.2%) and network (6.9%) rankings.
