BALL!

A triple ep of Home and Away (569,000; 469,000 “late”) runs across either Seven or 7TWO depending on where you are, and then it’s AFL or non-AFL stories:
Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football (534,000) ticks up a little on last week, as does the AFL Post Game (111,000); or a repeat of MOVIE: The Other Woman (196,000).
Seven second in both primary (22.9%) and network (32.9%) rankings.

A Current Affair (721,000) lands everywhere on Nine (slightly down on Wednesday), and then it’s NRL or non-NRL stories:
Thursday Night NRL Live (376,000) and Thursday Night Knock-Off (164,000); or
RBT (171,000), a repeat of Paramedics (176,000), and King’s Cross ER (173,000)–all three of which pretty much maintained their (small) audience. Having Ash Barty playing (and winning!) in the semi-finals meant there were a lot of eyes tune in late for 2021 Wimbledon D10-Late (508,000) too.
Nine first in both primary (22.6%) and network (31.1%) rankings.

Thursday night on the ABC is struggling. 7:30 (585,000) up slightly on last week but down on last night; Foreign Correspondent (373,000) slips again from last week, thanks in no part to it’s follow on; Q+A (269,000) back in diabolical territory–down nearly 50k viewers on last week it can’t afford to lose. Australia Debates (111,000) puts an end to the debacle.
ABC third in primary (9.5%) and fourth in network (14.1%) rankings.

The Project (302,000 6:30pm; 435,000 7pm) is 10’s best(!) as they face their first Thursday with no MasterChef in weeks. 10 News First Presents Diana’s Decades (246,000) drew little to no interest, followed by the usual space filler of double repeat episodes of Law & Order: SVU (143,000; 137,000). At least the new ep of US drama Blue Bloods (97,000) kept its fan pleased.
10 fourth in primary (7.5%) and third in network (14.2%) rankings.

A repeat of Great Asian Railway Journeys (143,000) starts SBS’s night, before changing gears into a new ep of The Good Fight (106,000) and then the Tour de France live (stage 12) (110,000; 49,000 “late”).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.8%) and network (7.7%) rankings.
