Another two-horse race seals the deal in primetime.
Australian Ninja Warrior (724,000) does good business for Nine as it heads into finals week, and 60 Minutes (498,000) appears to have found its new normal in the 400-500’s. Australian Crime Stories (153,000) rounded out the night.
Nine first in both primary (21.2%) and network (28.5%) rankings.
Farmer Wants A Wife (820,000) delivered a solid 2021 launch for Seven, though it was nearly 160k down on last year’s premiere. Crime Investigation Australia (313,000) and The Real Manhunter (173,000) run true crime into the later evening.
Seven second in both primary (20.2%) and network (26.7%) rankings.
Oof. The Project (334,000 6:30pm; 466,000 7pm) on Sunday is really needing something to lift it. MasterChef Australia (633,000) is helping (it’s also heading for finals shortly), however that Sunday night 6:30pm hour is proving to be a real challenge for what is 10’s flagship news and current affairs program…quality people and work going largely unnoticed. The night ended with a new, then double repeat ep of FBI (256,000; 173,000; 93,000).
10 third in both primary (13.2%) and network (19.2%) rankings.
Grand Designs (505,000) opens the ABC’s night, and helps Jack Irish (425,000) to a small series finale boost. The later evening heralded repeats of Agatha Christie’s The Pale Horse (193,000) and Operation Buffalo (61,000).
ABC fourth in both primary (11%) and network (14.8%) rankings.
Treasures of Malta (248,000) launched SBS’s primetime viewing schedule, and then all decks cleared to see an Aussie take out Tour de France live (stage 9) (210,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (7.2%) and network (10.8%) rankings.
