It was real tight at 7:30pm, with Have You Been Paying Attention was snapping at Big Brother’s heels.

A Current Affair (831,000) starts the night strong for Nine, however Australian Ninja Warrior (617,000) hasn’t bounced into this week as well as they would have hoped…third in the competitive 7:30pm timeslot. Emergency (335,000)
slides off the back and continues the week-on-week downward trend. This was followed by the state-code-specific 100% Footy (65,000) or Footy Classified (112,000) that completes Nine’s night (before late-night Wimbledon).
Nine first in both primary (20.2%) and network (27.3%) rankings.

Home and Away (642,000) bubbling along nicely for Seven if slightly down on the same time last week, and it would appear Big Brother Australia (667,000)
has tapered nicely to the end of the season, landing first in the 7:30pm timeslot AND first as non-News for the night by a whisker AND delivering its best figures this season…It wasn’t enough to help Seven win the night, but it got close. US dramas 9-1-1: Lone Star (321,000) and S.W.A.T. (183,000) keep a small audience into the later evening.
Seven second in both primary (19%) and network (26.8%) rankings.

The Project (342,000; 501,000) battles on in two of the three toughest half hours in modern Australian television, up marginally on last Monday. MasterChef Australia (640,000) is steaming towards its finale however not even Uluru week could lift it to a win on Monday night. It did get a nice bump from the usually night-winning Have You Been Paying Attention? (659,000) bringing it home again for 10. A repeat of the How To Stay Married (220,000) finale filled a smaller hole, and then Just For Laughs (122,000) finished 10’s night.
10 third in both primary (13.9%) and network (20.9%) rankings.

7:30 (711,000) and the premiere of Courtney Act’s One Plus One (372,000)
couldn’t compete with the commercial players, however still delivered admirably.
Analytical episodes of Four Corners (471,000) don’t get ratings like the ones with big reveals, so this was OK numbers however it did affect Media Watch (490,000)
as you would expect. Murder 24/7 (172,000) rounds out Aunty’s night.
ABC fourth in both primary (11.8%) and network (17.6%) rankings.

SBS’s Monday looks scratchy at the start with a repeat of Secrets of the Tower of London (151,000) however the Tour de France 2021 Live (stage 3) (143,000) is where all the buzz is.
SBS fifth in both primary (4.8%) and network (7.4%) rankings.
