July is coming and we’re halfway through winter, but fret not, there’s still plenty more titles to enjoy as the days get colder and the nights snugger!
HIGHLIGHTS
Headlining this month’s list is Fear Street inspired by the best-selling horror stories by R.L. Stine. In a first for Netflix, the Fear Street Trilogy will be released as an epic movie event over three consecutive weeks.
And if tears from jump-scares aren’t your thing and tears of laughter are, next up is season 2 of Mindy Kaling’s coming of age comedy, Never Have I Ever. Indian American teenager Devi continues to deal with the everyday pressures of high school and drama at home. But this time, with the added bonus of two boyfriends.
Discover more Australian First Nations stories with the arrival of the critically acclaimed Yolngu Boy and In My Blood It Runs. Yolngu Boy will take viewers on the journey of two Aboriginal teenagers who risk their own future to save their troubled childhood friend by joining him on a 300-mile journey through Australia. The documentary In My Blood It Runs tells the powerful story of 10 year old Dujuan and his family, as they struggle to balance his traditional Arrernte/Garrwa upbringing with a Western-style education.
Last but not least, all eight of the Harry Potter films will be available to watch. Follow 11-year-old Harry as he first discovers his magical abilities all the way through to the defeat of Voldemort. Did someone say it’s time for a Harry Potter marathon?
