Award-winning documentary maker Todd Sampson will return to Channel 10 later this year with a new series, Mirror Mirror.
10 used its mid-year Up Close advertiser event today to announce details of the new series, which will see Sampson explore the rapid rise of cosmetic procedures in the age of Instagram.
“In this series, we will explore body-image dissatisfaction, and how it is used against us in the name of profit.”
said Todd Sampson in the sizzle reel for the new series.
Channel 10’s promo presentation indicates Sampson has undergone his own cosmetic surgical procedure as part of the documentary.
Announcing the new format, Channel 10’s Head of programming Daniel Monaghan described Mirror Mirror as:
